The Campagnolo Chorus collection follows the path of its big brother, Record and receives an extreme makeover.
Aside from receiving an additional gear to the cassette,Campagnolo totally redesigned each component in the line. The Chorus ErgoPower levers have a totally new body and incorporate Ultra Shift technology to improve and maximize comfort, braking performance and handlebar interface. The Chorus Ultra-Shift drivetrain improves and maximizes shifting precision and efficiency. The outer plate of the rear derailleur increases torsional stiffness by 150 % for better shifting accuracy with less free-play. The front derailleur features a shaped inner cage to maximize the stiffness of the front derailleur and gives you more clearance for chain crossing. The cassette features Ultra-Shift teeth and Ultra-Shift aluminum frame for the last two sprocket triplets to improve the precision while reducing the overall weight and increasing the torsional stiffness by 180%. The Chorus Ultra Shift chainrings improve shifting precision and chain crossing optimization. Campagnolo narrows the chain to a 5.5mm and increases its strength by 20 percent. Campagnolo has also extended their warranty to four years.
